Ray Stanjevich/Friends American Grille
Friends is a neighborhood grill & bar. They are locally owned and operated by Ray Stanjevich and Suzanne Cartwright, with locations in Dacula, Dawsonville, Suwanee, Winder, Buford and the newest location in Grayson.
Operating since 2010, Friends is a place for good food and service, families and sports. Their growth is attributed to their customer loyalty, and they continue to thrive because of repeat visits by their “regulars”.
Friends is filled with HDTV’s. They show all NFL games through the NFL Package as well as most other sporting events, including UFC. Each restaurant has a beautiful, inviting and cozy patio. And they even have games for kids and adults.
The menu features fresh-ground steakburgers, hand-cut steaks, homemade dressings and sauces. The chicken is all white meat and cut in house. We only use fresh, premium brand chicken wings. Their menu offers quality choices, such as burgers, sandwiches, steaks, shrimp, chicken, quesadillas, pasta and salads. Some of the most popular food items are “Bada Bang Shrimp”, “The Gooey Louie Burger”, “Bayou Chicken Tenders”, “Loaded French Dip” and “Cajun Chicken Pasta”.
They have a full bar serving liquor, beer and wine. You will find craft beers on draft as well as most popular brands. Their bars also offer Keno games for your entertainment.
Contributing to the community and providing a helping hand to others when they are able to do so is part of their fiber. Friends holds an annual charity event named “Ansley’s Easter”. Ansley Arnette was a young girl that suffered from a rare, non-curable brain tumor, and Friends first fundraiser was held to help her family with medical bills. Ansley has since passed away, but her memory and spirit carries on every year at Friends on Easter Sunday.
Friends goal is to grow as an independent, locally owned restaurant that supports their community and their employees. They hope that you will in turn support us.
About Tiffany Krumins:
Tiffany Krumins is the CEO, founder and inventor of the Ava the Elephant® brand. Ava the Elephant is a talking children’s medicine dispenser that takes the fear and anxiety out of administering medicine to children.
Tiffany’s passion for helping children has been evident through her years of experience, including the work she’s done with children who have special needs and with childhood cancer patients. It was that same passion which brought Ava the Elephant to life! She realized no product on the market resolved the common problem of giving children medicine. She took matters into her own hands and created the first Ava the Elephant from sponges, fabric and a store bought medicine dropper. After seeing the profound effect it had on children she knew she was onto something.
After her life changing experience on ABC’s “Shark Tank” she returned home with her investment from Barbara Corcoran and started the process of launching a product. In the midst of it all, Tiffany was diagnosed with cancer three months after the show (at the age of 27). This personal heartbreak only made her passion to help sick children even strong.
